Canadian actress Laurie Holden appears here in vintage dress, in character as Adele in the 2001 film The Majestic. Laurie has very deep-set lines in her face, particularly around her mouth, and I am rarely satisfied with my sketches of her. In this case, I also used charcoal, a medium I am less confident with than lead. One thing I do especially like about this sketch, however, is the texture of the hair.
