I'm really pleased with this one! Annabeth Gish is someone I've been privileged to have a little contact with, and she always seems to have a smile in her voice. I think that comes through in this sketch. In terms of technical issues, this is probably the first sketch I've done where I've actively wanted to use charcoals (rather than feeling that I "should" for my own development). She has such wonderful dark glossy hair that I wanted to show it off.
